Well, let me rephrase that. The music industry is dead. Not eternally dead, just dead. It can be revived and reinvented but it'll take a lot of time and effort that the rich label executives aren't ready to accept.

- Well thanks for tossing a perfect example into my lap. E-book have tried to take over books and failed. Sure ebooks are nice, cute, and possibly can be considered convenient, but theres nothing like a good ol' fashioned book. Ebook sales NEVER took off, they NEVER will.

- You know it's pretty hard to find another "hard copy" of music right now when the STANDARD that we have IS CDS. MP3s are a toy. They come FROM cds. They're fun sure whatever, but CDS are still the dominate form of music software.

- Exactly everything is about personal choices. Even when they claim that they were too "weak" to resist temptation it's still their own responsibility.

- Yeah I looked up my birthday too and using LexisNexis' search program by a date in history is a little rough. Not because you won't find anything. there's almost always articles that were published on a certain day in history, the big problem is finding something interesting on a certain day.

- oh I'm basking. True comedy is a hard thing to stumble across now-a-days. Tv seems to actually be bringing a lot mroe funny than the movies have. WE're entering a new "golden Era" of television and The Office is helping to lead the way.

- Not one cell in my body would like to see Hillary Clinton given the most important job in our country, but I do believe we're in for a really interesting election this time around. Hopefully we won't be stuck in another worse-case-scenario situation like the last election.

- Now that the Red Sox have locked up Matsuzaka they're rotation includes: Shilling, Beckett, Papelbon, Matsuzaka, wakefeild and Jon Lester. Sure a part of me would absolutely love to see "The Rocket" back in Boston, but as long as he's not in pinstripes in 2007 I think I'll survive.
